1. About Travco
Travco is an independent personal utility that exports game resource observations from a local Travian Strategist database and saves compact JSON and CSV snapshots to the Google Drive account authorized by the user. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Travian Games GmbH.
2. Information processed
The utility processes game-related observation fields only, such as game server and village identifiers, observation timestamps, resource stocks, hourly production, storage capacity, and resource-field levels when available. It is not designed to collect names, email addresses, passwords, payment information, private messages, cookies, or browser history.
3. Google Drive access and use
The utility uses Google OAuth and the Google Drive drive.file permission. This permission is used to create and manage files the application creates or files the user explicitly opens with the application; it is not a request for unrestricted access to the user's entire Drive. The utility writes its generated JSON and CSV snapshots to a folder named "Strategist" in the authorized Drive account. It does not scan or use unrelated Drive content.
4. Purpose and sharing
Observation data is used only to generate and synchronize the user's resource snapshots. The data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with other users. The only external storage provider used for the sync is Google Drive, subject to Google's applicable privacy and security terms.
5. Storage and retention
The latest generated snapshot is also kept as a local export/cache on the server controlled by the user to support synchronization; subsequent runs replace the previous local export. Files uploaded to Google Drive remain there until the user deletes them. OAuth refresh credentials are stored separately in a restricted configuration file on the user's server and are not included in the exported JSON or CSV files.
6. Security and user controls
The sync process reads its source SQLite database in read-only mode and does not modify the source database. The user can stop the sync process, revoke the application's Google account access in Google Account security settings, and delete the generated files from Google Drive at any time. Revoking access prevents future uploads.
7. Children's privacy
Travco is not directed to children and is not intended to collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the utility's data practices change. The current version will be published on this page with its latest update date.
